Yvonne is a textile artist, author and teacher living in Norfolk.
she has travelled all over the UK, Ireland, Spain and New Zealand.
She comes from an art based background where her first love is painting and art history.
She is fascinated by textured surfaces using mixed media, found objects and paper.
She works mainly with a sewing machine in free-machine mode but enjoys embellishing her pieces with hand embroidery; beading and using a soldering iron and heat gun for a little bit of melting.
She dyes and paints most of her fabrics but also likes to use commercial batiks.
