Pauline Verrinder is a Textile Artist and Tutor who is a member of Fibre fusion. Inspiration for her work comes from the beauty and diversity which surrounds her in the natural world. Having no fixed boundaries she aspires to continually stretch and evolve through exploration and experimentation.
Her teaching has taken her all over the country, the V&A in London, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
We have been trying to book Pauline for a workshop for many years and at last it has happened.
Pauline was a generous and patient tutor and ran classes for two days. She shared three techniques with our group and you'll find lots of photos below of what we got up to.
I'm sure there will be lots of finished pieces in next years exhibition.
